If you’re anything like us, you’ve seen the adverts and the panic has set in.

Yep, it’s Mother’s Day and you haven’t bought the perfect gift yet. Fear not, La Brûmée is here to save the day.  Read on for our guide to the best Mother’s Day gifts of 2018, because there’s nothing worse than when your mum is not angry but very, very disappointed.

Luxury body lotions

A gift is a great way to add some luxury to somebody’s already existing routine, something that they wouldn't normally buy themselves, but that they will actually use.  A great way to do this is to gift an indulgent, scented body lotion. We love Elemis’ Frangipani Monoi Body Cream for its luxurious feel and beautiful fragrance. They also have shower creams and oils featuring the same scent if you want to score some extra brownie points.

Hair perfumE

Let’s face it, most mums are rushed off their feet with very little time to themselves, making quick fixes and multi-functioning beauty products extra important. This is where hair fragrance comes in, La Brûmée is a hair fragrance which also refreshes  and nourishes very dry hair, acting as a lighter version of a dry shampoo, whilst delivering an ultra feminine fragrance. This may be an especially good option for new mums who could do with the ultimate pick me up. Lets be honest, those everyday hair washes are a thing of the past!

Paint a smile on her facE

Quite literally, with a new lipstick.  Makeup is the ultimate mood booster and a new lipstick is the perfect gift for a much loved mum on Mother’s Day.  With spring just around the corner, now is the perfect time to opt for beautiful pink shades. We love Charlotte Tilbury’s Liv It Up for the perfect pink that looks gorgeous on every skin tone.

It’s very hard to go wrong with flowers, especially with our help.  For a gift that keeps on giving, try a flower subscription box or eternal roses - they last so long they may even get you off the hook next year(!).  If you are strapped for cash, head to your local flower market and consult Pinterest for the ultimate DIY bouquet - it’s the thought that counts after all.
